- When reports are ready for viewing, you will receive an email with your report link. Click on the link to view the report.
- View results via Canvas
- View results via Course Evaluation and Surveys website.

Students can use any computer device to complete their course evaluation.
Instructors may use any device to look at the response rate or the evaluation report.

No, you do not need to use Canvas in order for your students to complete their course evaluations. The course evaluation links are sent to students in an email invitation.
Students may complete the course evaluation survey via one of the following media:

From the embedded link in the survey invitation email which is sent to students.

From the survey link in the Canvas notification dialog box.

From the Student Course Evaluation menu item on the Canvas Course Navigation Menu.
Yes, it is possible to reserve a portion of class time to have students complete course evaluations.
You should let students know that you will be reserving this time, especially if you are encouraging them not to complete evaluations prior to that time.
In order for students to complete evaluations during class, they will either need to bring their own device (laptop, tablet, or smartphone) or you must hold class in a computer lab.
Please remember the same classroom process for conducting course evaluations that was in place when paper evaluations were used is still required for online evaluations. Instructors should not be present during the evaluation period.
The following statement should be read to students by the instructor prior to leaving the room or by the designee:
"Do not begin to fill out the course evaluation until your instructor has left the room. Your survey is anonymous and your instructor will not see the responses until after grades have been assigned."
End of course evaluation reports are available a few days after final grades are posted. Instructors, department chairs, program directors, and deans will receive an email on the day that course evaluation reports are available.
